11 December 2018 — Hong Kong. FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is proud to announce that it has partnered with Air Tahiti Nui to introduce a new set of amenity kits for the French airline’s Business Class and Premium Economy passengers. FORMIA designed the new range to complement the airline’s vibrant personality and further enhance the authentic experience of French Polynesia onboard. Items in the kit are thoughtfully curated to meet the needs of passengers, while Business Class guests can indulge in signature products from Tahitian natural cosmetics brand, Heiva.
Specially designed to create the perfect amenity kit passengers will love and remember, the new Air Tahiti Nui Business Class and Premium Economy kits carry the spirit of French Polynesia. With a focus on the quality of the fabric, elegance and design, each kit is made from environmentally-friendly and sustainable felt material reminiscent of the Tahitian “tifaifai”, a patchwork quilt style craft found throughout Polynesian interiors. Expressing the airline’s signature character and incorporating stand-out brand elements, the stylish kits perfectly complement the cabin interiors, linens and cushions. Premium Economy kits come in four distinct colour-waysand patterns, coordinating with crew uniforms and reflecting the untouched natural beauty of Tahiti.
Each amenity bag is stocked with items selected to deliver optimum onboard comfort. Business Class passengers are pampered with a selection of essential products, including hand cream, face cream and lip balm, from local brand, Heiva. Underlining the premium experience, Heiva is the only authentic Polynesian cosmetics brand using a Tiare flower fragrance, the national flower and scent of Tahiti, and Monoï oil, a combination of coconut oils known for their nourishing qualities. Made from 100% natural ingredients and formulated by expert pharmacists, each Heiva product is developed carefully in keeping with Tahitian culture and beauty traditions.
With the large pouch shape and zip opening, the Business Class amenity bags were thoughtfully designed with longevity in mind with ample space for cosmetics and accessories or reuse after the trip as a clutch. The Premium Economy bag is ideal for keeping smaller items from getting lost, and the perfect size to fit a passport or headphones.
“We are thrilled to help Air Tahiti Nui continue to share its unique Tahitian culture with passengers in these new amenity kits perfectly representing the airline’s vibrant personality and the cultural heritage”, commented Roland Grohmann, FORMIA’s Managing Director. “With the opportunity to indulge in natural products from Polynesian brand Heiva, premium passengers have the amenities they need to arrive at their destination feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy their stay.”
